Catalog for Statistical Distributions

Continuing from last discussion on the Statistical Distributions, there are some interesting benefits regarding approximated properties of the population. Undoubtedly a copper wire producing company cannot measure the diameter of each unit length of wire they are producing, quality control unit can just make several samples and then use the distribution theory to analyze how good or bad their quality of copper wire is.

Recently I came across with work done by Lawrence M. LEEMIS and Jacquelyn T. MCQUESTON in cataloging the various types of univariate distributions, their map of inter-conversion.
